CALLING ALL READERS!!!
Readers of all ages are invited to take part in this years summer reading program. This year children ages newborn to age 12 are reminded that "Every Hero Has a Story" while adults and teens are encouraged to "Unmask" and "Escape the Ordinary" during this years reading event. Registration runs through June with the program ending on July 31. Participants may read by title or minutes. For more information about each program see staff in the adult or children's departments. Shutterbugs show off your best shots in the Antioch Public Library District’s photo contest. Photographers, ages 6 – 12 years, are invited to participate. Entries will be accepted from June 1, 2015 through July 31, 2015. Bring in your matte or glossy print to the children’s reference desk. Be sure to include your name, address and phone number. Important things you need to know:
- One entry per person.
- Photographs must be suitable to a family environment.
- Parent/guardian must sign an agreement form.
- Other restrictions apply. Please see a complete list of rules HERE. or obtain them from the Children’s Department staff.

All EPUB and many PDF eBooks at this site are ready to enjoy on many of the popular eReaders. A complete list of eReaders, compatible phone, and audio devices are available through the MyMediaMall database or by going online at either MyMediaMall.com or overdrive.com.
To access the MyMediaMall database click on the Research Center link to the right of this page. Then under Search the Databases click the link "to access the library databases." Once there just scroll down to the MyMediaMall section and click to view the multitude of titles available for free download. And everything is available 24/7 regardless if the library is open or closed.
A current APLD library card and pin number are required. See a Circulation Desk clerk to obtain a pin number if you do not already have one.
